Daniel Vincent Benedetto

Daniel Vincent Benedetto, 49, of Brunswick, GA passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, June 18, 2021. Born January 8, 1972, in Atlanta, GA he was the son of Vincent and Virginia Benedetto. He had lived in Brunswick for the past 10 years. Daniel was passionate about golf, having began golfing with his father at the age of 5, and winning numerous tournaments throughout Texas and North Carolina. He was a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he was on the golf team and earned a bachelor's degree in political science. After moving to Brunswick, he worked as a Caddie for Brunswick Country Club, and Sea Island Resort, as well as having private clientele. Daniel is survived by his parents, Vincent and Beth Benedetto of Salisbury, NC; sisters, Sharon Susco (David) of Grantham, NH, Julie Cha (Michael) of Murfreesboro, TN, and Hannah Waller of Hickory, NC; nieces and nephews, Pierce, Paige, Palmer, Virginia, Zachary, Ethan, and Elizabeth; and his closest, life-long friend, Tripp Edwards of Salisbury, NC. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Pierce Benedetto. A Private service will be held at a later date. A Celebration of Daniel's life will also be held in the near future.
