Danny Kesler Obituary
SALISBURY - Danny Ray Kesler, 59, of Salisbury, passed away Feb. 13, 2014.
He was born March 24, 1954. in Rowan County, the son of the late Ruby Winecoff Kesler.
Danny received his master's degree in Bible Studies. A veteran of the United States Air Force and a missionary, Danny was a member of Bible Missionary Baptist Church.
His spiritual birthday in Christ was Feb. 23, 2000. He served as a soldier in God's Army from 2003-2014. His favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 3:5-7 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil."
Preceding him in death were his mother; sons Daniel Lee Kesler Walker and Josh Kesler; and brother Clint "Pee Wee" Kesler.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sherry Kesler of Salisbury, who he married July 5, 2002; daughters Angie Ball of Salisbury, Joni Featherstone of Salisbury, Carli Kesler of Albuquerque, N.M., Cynthia Everhart of Salisbury and Sharon Borgquist of Salisbury; brother Tim Kesler of Salisbury; and 12 grandchildren.
Service: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Bible Missionary Baptist Church, 11360 Old Concord Road, Rockwell, NC 28138, with Pastor Buddy Hoffner officiating.

Well Danny as u know so many people loved you so much,,I always have loved you.Danny the family, the friends,your church family gave u a beautiful memorial service,, it was very touching, and the spirit of The Lord was truly present. Your children at the retreat will miss you a lot. I am so proud of the life style you left behind,, now you can praise Jesus face to face. See u one day!!!!

Sherrie,,I am so sorry for your loss,and to his children,Joni,angie,carlie,,I know this feeling, an empty Heart.But lean on the Lord and He will give you comfort. To Danny, I have loved you so much in your life,from your 10th birthday I have watched you grow,some bad and a LOT of a good Heart you always had. when you got saved it was a happy time for Peewee and myself,you wanted your Mom to see the change in your life,,well Danny I believe she did and we are every proud of the life you have given to our Lord,,I will miss calling you every year on your birthday and listen to that giggle,,But Danny just enjoy this year as Jesus will take my place..you are a new Baby now and walk them streets of Gold..R I P Danny.
