Darryl Alexander Sr. was everything to me. He was a dad, a father, a leader, a person I could always talk to about anything. He showed me love my entire life. He supported me, and always made me feel as the I was loved. I'll always miss him, but will keep his memory alive throughout my life. Thanks for everything Dad. I love you more than anyone would ever know.

Darryl was not only my dad, he was also my best friend. One thing we often did together was go to the movies. He really enjoyed that, and it was one of his favorite things to do. He also loved to cook exotic foods and explore different cuisines from around the world. He was a very adventurous man and always pursued his dreams. I will miss the good times we had together and cherish those memories forever. I love you dad.

My deepest condolences to the family. I met Darryl when I became a City of Salisbury employee in 2017. We worked in the same building at the Customer Service Center. He was such a nice person. Always had a smile on his face. I was sad to hear about his passing from another coworker. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
