SALISBURY - David Franklin Canup Sr., 63, passed Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013.

Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at Dunn's Mountain Baptist Church conducted by Rev. R. J. Hammond.

Visitation: 2-2:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18 at the church.

So sorry to learn of David,s passing. We were friends as kids as his dad coached our baseball teams. We had just recently reconnected on FB and I sent him copy of the old World Series program where we played in as kids. My prayers are with the family.

So sad for our loss. David was a friend since Newell Elementary. He and Brenda had been coming to our Garinger High School reunions and he will be missed. Praying for the family.
