Debra Chalker Obituary
SALISBURY - Debra Lynne Chalker, 47, of Salisbury, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at the home of her mother, Mitzie Boley McKinley, and her stepfather, Bill.
Born Dec. 30, 1960, in Morgantown, W.Va., she was the daughter of Mitzie Boley McKinley of Salisbury and the late James Otis Boley, who died Sept. 30, 1990. She graduated from high school in Brazil. Mrs. Chalker was previously employed by Fletcher Fairview Health Care in Asheville as the office manager. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Charles John Chalker of Salisbury; children Shannon Nichole Nizer of Winter Haven, Fla., Eric James Chalker of Fort Myers, Fla., Jessica Leann Chalker of Salisbury; and brothers Gerald Alan Boley of Raleigh and Joseph H. Boley of Salisbury.
Service: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Summersett Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. John Hills, retired minister, officiating. Entombment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
Visitation: The family will be at the home of her brother, Joey H. Boley, of 1234 Hurley School Road, Salisbury.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to The Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Lou Gehrig's Disease, 120-101 Penmarc Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Charlie and Family,
The Zink family just wanted you all to know how much we loved Deb and miss her. She was a very kind women who touched many hearts here in Candler, NC including our family on the hill. So sorry to hear of Debbie's death. Bill always kept me informed of her condition, pretty much weekly. To Bill and Mitzie you were great caretakers and we will never know what all you have been through. Remember you and the family was prayed for today.
