Donna Jean Rudd Sloop

Donna Jean Rudd Sloop, 65, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at her residence. She was born April 1, 1956 in Cumberland, NC to Robert Rudd and Louise Spivey Roberts. Donna worked as a seamstress and in her spare time enjoyed listening to Christian music, reading and taking care of her children. She was a member of The River Church of God in Salisbury. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie D. Sloop Sr.; brother, Kenneth Ray Rudd; uncle, Robert Spivey; and aunt, Virginia Furr. Donna is survived by her son, Jackie D. Sloop Jr. of Concord; Daniel Sloop of Salisbury; daughter, Dottie Sloop of Salisbury; and brother, Jackie L. Rudd. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at 2:30pm at Salisbury Seventh Day Adventist Church, 305 Rudolph Rd. Salisbury, NC 28146.
