Eva Correll was my teacher at Landis Elementary school. She was a great teacher, didn't remember many teachers names but I always remember her. I think my brother { Tony Blalock} had her as a teacher also. my brother would go visit her at her house around Christmas time every year untill his death in 1970 at the age of 20 years old. from Kathy Blalock Mishoe.

I've known Eva since I first started teaching in 1958 and I taught some of her children. Upon reading of her death, I felt that the world of education, as well as that of her family and friends, has suffered a tremendous loss. She contributed many years to the education of the children of this area. Thank you, Eva.

To Kelly Hodge Flack and children:
Grief, and missing a grandmother and great-grand, is a hard thing sometimes to bear, but try to remember that she is not really gone away, she's just been promoted to a higher position.
