SALISBURY - Faye Roseman Overcash, 88, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 16, 1924, to the late Curtis Douglas Roseman, Sr. and Gladys McDonald Roseman.

Mrs. Overcash was a 1941 graduate of Landis High School and worked at Cannon Mills in Plant 1. She retired from Cannon Mills in 1991.

She was a member of Organ Lutheran Church, the Sunday School Class Augsburg, WELCA, Circle Group 3 and volunteered with Meals On Wheels. She enjoyed camping, traveling and loved being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia Lalane Overcash.

Mrs. Overcash is survived by her husband, who she married March 6, 1943, Charles Haywood Overcash; sons Michael Haywood Overcash of Atlanta and Timothy James Overcash of Salisbury; brother C.D. Roseman of China Grove; sisters Louise Bernal of Sherman, Tex., Drucilla Morgan of Blacksburg, S.C., Ruth Bonds of Mooresville and Joan Watson of Concord; and grandchildren Tuesday Overcash, Adam Overcash, Spencer Black, Casey Coates and Roxy Overcash.

Visitation: The family received friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Powles Funeral Home.

Service: The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 at Organ Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Carlin Ours, pastor. Burial will follow at the Organ Lutheran Church Cemetery.
