Franklin Lee "Frank" Brady

Franklin Lee (Frank) Brady, age 66, of Gold Hill went into the Arms of Jesus October 11, 2025 at Forsyth Hospital in Winston Salem with his family around him.

Born July 25, 1959 in Rowan County. He was the son of Clifford P. Brady and Margaret Shue Brady.

He graduated from East Rowan in 1977 and continued his education at Wofford College of Spartanburg, South Carolina with a football scholarship.

After college he went to work for Man Busing in Cleveland. He traveled all over the United States working for them. He continued working for them until Man changed over to Freightliner and worked for them until he went into business for himself laying brick. He was an avid hunter, and always wanted football games on television.

He is survived by his wife, Sionna Graham Brady; his mother, Margaret Fisher; one brother, Phillip (Sandra) Brady; four sisters Revonda Brady (Connie), Gail Foster (John), Cindy Mackin, Angie (Dale) Freeze; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Brady and brother-in-law, Dan Mackin.

The family will greet friends and relatives on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the Organ Lutheran Church, Salisbury, NC, with Rev. Tonya Brittain and Pastor Eddie Pless officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ronnie Barrier with Rowan Family Physicians as well as the doctors and nurses for the wonderful care they gave Frank at Forsyth Medical Center.
