Gerald Graham Obituary
Born February 20, 1941 in Salisbury, NC she was the daughter of the late Landrum Pickney Hamm, Sr. and Nola Mae Garrison.
Mrs. Graham was a graduate of Boyden High School and attended classes at Rowan Cabarrus Technical College. She worked at many different places including: Ralph Baker Shoes, Norman's Draperies, RDH Tire and as a substitute teacher. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Graham enjoyed crocheting, knitting, writing, and traveling with bus tours all over the United States. She also wrote several books on family history. Mrs. Graham enjoyed her Wednesday shopping trips with her sisters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paule Edward Graham; sisters, sisters, Vangie Miller, Jeanette Morris; brother, Bud Hamm; step-daughter, Sherry Paulette Graham Marlow; grandchildren, Grayson Morgan, Brandon Morgan and Steffi Poteat.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Greg Morgan (Melinda), Donna Beaver (Jerry), Sandy Matney (Randy), and Julie Poteat (Jeff); grandchildren, Stacy Lippard (Steve), Lisa White, Tyler Poteat (Kelly) and Scarlet Mason; great-grandchildren, Chandler Lippard (Parker), Parker Lippard, Natalie Lippard, Andon Mason, Alaina Mason and Dawson Reece; sister, Pat Morrison; step-son-in-law, Clyde Marlow; and special friend, Norma Jean “Snookie” Hiatt.
The family would like to give special thanks for caregiver Lisa Thomason for her loving care of Mrs. Graham and to Pastor Robert McCarty for his many visits.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00PM Saturday, December 14, 2024 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00PM in the sanctuary at St. Luke's Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Church Cemetery, 11020 NC Hwy 801, Mt. Ulla, NC 28125.
