Grady Osborne

Mr. Grady Byerly Osborne, 81, of Statesville, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living. Born in Rowan County on Jan. 25, 1937, he was a son of the late Henry Davis Osborne and Eula Mae Broadway Osborne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lynn Osborne; along with brothers, Cecil and Grover Osborne; and sisters, Dolly, Betsy, Margie and Magdeline. Survivors include a son, Randy Osborne of Statesville, a daughter, Renee Poole of Olin, two step sons, Sammy Shumaker (Vicky) and Phillip Presnell both of Statesville and a step daughter, Melissa Dillard of Olin. Also surviving are a brother, Kenneth Osborne; three sisters, Lois Sanders, Janet Brown and Elsie Deal; along with a granddaughter, Lisa Garcia; and three great-granddaughters, Audrianni, Clarrisa and Emylii Garcia. Arrangements: Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday at City Memorial Park in Salisbury with Rev. David Jones officiating.
