Henry V. "Tom" Ludwick Jr.

Henry V. Ludwick, Jr. (Tom), age 87, went to his heavenly home on June 29, 2025. Tom passed away peacefully at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.

Tom was born March 8, 1938 to the late Henry V. Ludwick, Sr. and Bertha Rose Shulenberger in Salisbury, NC. Tom was a lifelong member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church where he served on the property committee. Tom retired from SpeCon Systems where he worked in fabrication and maintenance. Tom was known as a handyman and his favorite hobby was welding and building things. He also enjoyed helping out his family, including working for Trip and Son Lawn Care when he was able. Tom and Jean together enjoyed gardening, camping and spending time with family.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Karen Kincaid, step brother Thomas Ludwick, sister Dollie Shaver and sister Frances Cline.

Tom is survived by his wife Jean Ludwick of 64 years whom he married on December 25, 1960, in addition to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kim Rogers (husband Trip), grandson Preston Rogers and granddaughter Taylor Cranford (husband Aaron) and his first great-grandchild on the way in September.

The family will greet with friends and relatives on Sunday, July 6 from 2:00 PM- 2:45 PM at St. Matthews Lutheran Church Family Life Center.

The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in St. Matthews Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Jarrod Lanning, officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
