Herbert Baker Obituary
SALISBURY - Herbert Leonard Baker, 86, of Salis-bury, passed away on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 17, 1925, in Forsyth County, the son of the late Robert Lee and Della McClora Alexander Baker.
Herbert worked as a pipe fitter and in construction.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by parents and wife Grace Peeler Baker.
Those left to cherish his memories are son Barry Baker of Salisbury; daughters Bonnie Baker Graham (Donald) of Salisbury and Debbie Baker Donaldson (Gordon) of Holden Beach; brother Ernest Baker (Lucille Graham) of Salisbury; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 1:30-2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 at Haven Lutheran Church, 207 W. Harrison St., Salisbury, NC.
Burial: 3 p.m. Monday at City Memorial Park Cemetery, Salisbury.
Memorials: Alzheimer's Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215-3220.

Barry, Bonnie & Debbie - it's been a long time since we were at Emmanuel Baptist - I just read about your Dad - I remember both your Mom and Dad and what wonderful folks they were. I am so sorry for your loss - our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
