Jeffrey Steven Bost

Senior Airman Jeffrey Steven Bost, 49, of Rockwell, went to his Heavenly home on March 30, 2021. Born on October 9, 1971, in Concord to Kenneth A. Bost and Jo Anne Bost Bollenbecker. Jeff served in the United States Air Force from January 12, 1989 until December 31, 1993, working as a Cargo Processing Specialist-Air Transportation Journeyman (2T251) for three years and ten months. He served August 2, 1990 - January 11, 1994 in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm 36th Transportation Squadron Bitburg, AB, Bitburg, Germany September 21, 1991-May 8, 1992. 437th Aerial Port Squadron, Charleston, SC January 16, 1993-October 15, 1993. He received several awards throughout his time served including, Air Force Achievement Medal W/1 Dev, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Training Ribbon, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award W-1 Dev, and Air Force Longevity Service Award. Jeff worked at Bost Tune Up and Brakes and was an Independent Truck Driver until he became disabled three years ago. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Betty Hinson of Concord and paternal grandparents, George and Pauline Bost of Kannapolis. In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his step-mother, Brenda Bost, of Rockwell; step-dad, Jerry L. Williams, of Kannapolis; sons, Jesse S. Bost (Mariah), of Kannapolis, and Jacob F. Bost, of Rockwell; daughter, Emma L. Bost, of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Lucas and Lainey; brother, Clinton A. Bost (Michele) of Springfield, Ohio; nephew, Zachary A. Bost, of Huber Heights, Ohio; step-brother, Mike Brady, of Salisbury; step-sister, Lynn Brady of Salisbury; mother of his children, Patricia Bost; and numerous cousins who loved him very much. Visitation: The family will greet friends and relatives from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday, April 5, at Powles Staton Funeral Home. Service: A graveside service will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 6, with Dr. Chris King officiating.
