Jeremy Andrew “Andy” Cope, 49, of Rockwell, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 22, 1973 in Salisbury, NC to Carl and Debra “Debbie” Lyerly Cope. Andy was a graduate of East Rowan High School and he worked at McKenzie's Taxidermy Supply in Salisbury, where in May he would have celebrated 30 years of service. Andy loved buying and working on cars and watching NASCAR, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and being Uncle D to Maddy. In addition to his parents, Carl and Debra “Debbie”, he is survived by his sister, Janna Cope Moffre and husband Dominic of Rockwell; special niece, Maddy Olivia Moffre of Granite Quarry and his special dog, Target. The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rockwell. A memorial service for Andy will follow on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 4:30 pm in Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Bruce Sheeks, officiating.
