Joann Howard Funderburk

Joann Howard Funderburk, 66, of China Grove, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at her residence. Born in East Spencer, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thelma Howard and Percy Howard. Mrs. Funderburk was a graduate of North Rowan High School, class of 1974. She was employed at Dixie Furniture (Lexington Co.). Joann loved helping animals as well as vacationing at the beach and mountains. Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Q. Funderburk of the home; brother, Charles Howard; mother, Thelma Howard; father, Percy Howard; grandmothers, Mae Sykes and Mamie Howard; great-grandmother Beulah Calicutt. Mrs. Funderburk is survived by her brother, John Howard of Salisbury, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Yorkie Rescue of the Carolinas or the organization of your choice.
