Joyce Mahala Obituary
Joyce was born Febr. 28, 1937, in Spencer to the late Marvin Ray Keller and the late Loma Louise Beaver Keller.
She was also preceded in death by grandson, Preston Casteen.
Survivors include children, Leah (Chris) Haywood of Berwick, La. and Jason Trent Casteen of Norwood; grandchildren, Jerrod (Emma) Coley, Evan Coley, Elijah Casteen, Lydia Casteen, and Jade Casteen; great-grandson, Liam Coley and one great-grandson on the way, James Coley; and sister, Judy (Rodney) Cochran.
Joyce retired from General Electric where she made electrical boxes. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and crosswords. Joyce loved her little dog, Dylan.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and Uwharrie or Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Mahala family.
