Julian Altman Obituary
SALISBURY - Julian Walter Altman, 69, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Carolinas Specialty Hospital.
Mr. Altman was born July 7, 1944, in Ware County Ga., to the late Edgar Walter Altman and Elizabeth Thomas Altman. He retired after many years of service from Terminal Trucking and was an avid golfer, being a member of GARS Association.
Survivors include his sons, Mark Altman (Jennifer) of Charleston, S.C., and Ricky Altman (Jamie) of Danville, Va.; four grandchildren, Stacy Griffin, Bradley Brafford, Kimber Allison Altman and Kaitlynn Nicole Eck; brother Thomas "Red" Altman (Linda); two nephews, David and Tommy Altman; special friends, Nancy Beck, Shawn Beck (Gelee), Kim Lee (Wesley), Weston Lee and Josh Lee.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date.
Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the Altman family.
