I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. It is the worst pain a parent must live through...I know this pain. I lost my 22 year old son,Alex on May 18,2007. It is a long journey with many ups and downs. Only another mother that has experienced this understands how you are feeling. If I can help in any way please contact me. I also gave my information to Ken Clapp to give to you. Peace and love to you...

Phyllis, our hearts go out to you and your family during this time. We cannot imagine what you are going through, but as parents we can understand some of what you must be feeling. Please know that we are praying for you, and you are in our thoughts. We don’t know why God needed another angel in heaven at this time, but we trust in the fact Julie is with the Lord and that you will be reunited with her again. May God Bless you and comfort your hearts.

Phyllis and family: I have such fond memories of working with you, Phyllis, at RRMC when Julie was little. I have often thought of how precious and genuine Julie was, even at an early age. I had the pleasure of meeting Julie again as an adult and always told her that she was "her mother's child", for sure. What a beautiful girl and what a wonderful lesson she taught so many of us. I cannot imagine the grief you feel, but pray that you are comforted by knowing that Julie lived by the faith and values that she learned. May God bless you in your healing.
With love - Becky (McKinney) Shives

Julie was truly an amazing woman-- kind, strong, beautiful, intelligent, and funny, with great faith and limitless amounts of love to give to those she cared about. Her open heart and sincerity touched everyone she came in contact with. She had a real zest for life, fun-loving and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and wisdom. Julie was incredibly insightful and a trusted confidant to many. She was a fierce friend; when she loved you, she loved you with her whole heart. Julie Keels gorgeous inside and out. She will be greatly missed.

Phyllis and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Julie when she was little and I worked with Phyllis at RRMC. She was a sweet, beautiful little girl who grew into a sweet, beautiful, loving adult. I cannot know your pain as a parent, but we lost my husband's brother the same day of Julie's accident, so we do know the pain of a recent loss of a family member. Phyllis please let God help you and your family at this time. I love you and wish I could take away some of your pain. Let God do it instead.

To the Keels Family:
There are no adequate words to express the sorrow felt for the loss of Julie. I did not know her personally, but just what little I have read about her, it is obvious that this world was a better place with her in it. May you be comforted in knowing that although her work may be done here on earth, she is only just beginning in heaven. Godspeed.
