Karl Leach Obituary

In memory of Karl H. Leach, who's passing was August 15, 2025 at his residence. He was 77 years old.

He was born December 8, 1947 in Germany. He was the son of the late Therses (Goffman) and Jimmy Leach.

Karl was of Catholic faith and an Airforce veteran following 20 years of service. He also retired from Kennedy Space Center. But most of all a wonderful husband, father and friend.

He had a dry sense of humor, he enjoyed watching the Red Sox and wrestling. He also enjoyed golf, woodworking and sometimes gardening.

His love for his family, grandchildren went beyond measure. He felt most proud of his children and grandchildren's achievements in life.

To cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Colleen Leach, to whom he married June 18th, 1985. Sons Scott Farrell (Danielle) of Charlotte NC, Jarrod Farrell (Jamie) of Temple NH, David Leach of Grandforks, ND and daughter Tammy Leach of Grandforks, ND.

Grandchildren Mallory Hawkes, Collin Farrell, Dylan Farrell and Kyle Farrell.

A celebration of his life will be held August 20, 2025 at 1pm at Summersett Memorial Chapel, to be continued at the family home in Salisbury NC.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or the American Diabetes Association or the Wounded Warriors Program.
