Kenneth Leon Roach

SALISBURY - Kenneth Leon Roach, age 78, of 1820 Miller Chapel Road, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Roach was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Cabarrus County. He was the son of the late Worth Franklin Roach and Mae (Tucker) Roach.

Mr. Roach retired from Shogren Hosiery as a Fixer. He was the beloved husband to the late Betty Virginia Morgan Roach and a devoted father.

His youthful spirits and zest for life will be carried on in the hearts of his ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and to everyone who was blessed to know him.

The Family Meeting Place is at the Roach Residence.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Fred Roach and Bill Roach.

Survivors include sons, Michael L. Roach of Salisbury, Jeffrey M. Roach of Nebr. and Jody G. Roach of Salisbury; daughter, Diane Larkin of Mt. Ulla; and sisters, Hazel Simpson of Concord and Ruth Morgan of Concord.

Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 23 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Concord.

Service and Burial: 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel - Concord, with Rev. Johnny Whittington and Rev. Randy Woodberry officiating. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, Concord.
