Larry Cesario Obituary
Larry was born August 5, 1947 in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late Bernard Cesario and Madaline Watt Cesario. He was a graduate of West Rowan High School. Larry worked in sales in armored car service. Larry was a NC high school football, basketball and baseball official for over 40 years. He was proud to have officiated state championships and all-star games.
Larry was a dedicated member to St. John's Lutheran Church where he was a lead usher and hospital visitor. He was a member of the Salisbury Civitan Club and The Lions Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Douglas and Gregory Cesario.
Surviving are his sons, Andy Cesario of Mooresville, NC and Craig Cesario of Ohio; sister, Tina of Charlotte, NC; and grandchildren: Madison, Kinley, Avery and Braden.
A visitation will be held Wednesday (Dec 3, 2025) from 4-6 PM at Summersett Funeral Home.

I was blessed to have had so many wonderful times with Larry, working for him referring basketball, following family sports, and enjoying the occasional fun filled breakfast at one of our local hangouts. He was a fine family man, a great official and boss, and a good Christian. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
