Randall Dwiggins Obituary
ROCKWELL - Mr. Randall "Ranhole" Douglas Dwiggins, 48, of Rockwell, passed away Thursday Sept. 15, 2011, at his home.
He was born May 30, 1963, in Rowan County, the son of Pauline Athey Bowers and the late Johnny Dwiggins and stepson of Raymond Bowers of Faith. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Carolyn Bostian.
He was a 1981 graduate of East Rowan High School and was employed with Food Lion for over 20 years as a forklift operator. Mr. Dwiggins attended Salisbury Church of the Nazarene.
Ranhole loved photography, gardening, NASCAR and the Miami Dolphins.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Wanda Hunt Dwiggins ; daughters K-La Dwiggins and fiance Adam Gilbeau of Salisbury, Tayrn Morris and husband Greg of Spencer; grandchildren Michael and Cheyanne; and sister Tammy Hodges and husband Dewayne of Granite Quarry. Also surviving are one nephew and one niece.
Visitation and Service: Visitation will be held 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Monday at Summersett Funeral Home and again at 3 p.m. at 216 N. Rowan Ave., Spencer. The service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday at Summersett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dennis DeLong officiating.
Memorials: May be made to Wanda Dwiggins, 216 N. Rowan Ave., Spencer, NC to help with expenses.

Dear Daddy,
I can't seem to get through the days yet without having fear, sadness, anger or happiness. I miss you so much. I don't know how to feel knowing that you are no longer here with us, knowing you are healthy and happy in heaven, knowing that the lord took you away instead of letting you be here with us or knowing that your spirit is surrounding me not knowing if it is good or bad. If and when you do surround me, please just touch my cheek to know thats its you, the sweet daddy I remember. I have so much of me in you that I never knew. Wanda I know how hard this must be, but you will get through this with the love and support of your family and friends. I know this is hard for the girls as well and the only advice that I can give is take each day at a time and remember that when you get up and go on with that day you are all one day closer to seeing Randal again. That is what has helped me when I think about Rodney. I love you all very much and if you wanna talk please just call me. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I can't believe you are gone. This is all so hard to grasp for the family. You will always be remembered in special ways. I always enjoyed going skating with you and aunt wanda, and I wanna say thank you for teaching me how. God must have had big plans for you. I know you are surrounded by one of the sweetest mawmaw's in the world. Please give her the biggest hug for me. We will all see each other again someday and will all be healthy. I'm gonna make a special trip to Fryes just for you! Maybe throw in a speed skate or two, to the best 80's rock song (which I will have them play). It's all so different now, everyone is numb, but we know you are okay and at peace. Fly high up there sweetie!!
