Robert Saylor Obituary

Robert F. Saylor SALISBURY - Robert Floyd Saylor, 68, of Westminster, Md., died Thursday (July 14, 2005) at the Carroll Hospital Center. Born April 3, 1937, in Tennessee and raised in Salisbury, Mr. Saylor was the son of the late John and Anna Saylor. He was the husband of Pok Sun Saylor, his wife of 30 years. Mr. Saylor was a veteran of the Navy and the North Carolina National Guard. He was a communications specialist with the Social Security Administration, retiring in 2001 after 30 years. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed attending family Little League games, playing with his dog and being with his grandchildren. Survivors, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Joe and Joyce Croce of Rockville, Md.; daughter and son-in-law Lucille and Michael Cole of Westminster; daughter Catherine Saylor of Westminster; sister Betty Albrets of Toney, Ala.; brother Roger Saylor of Gahanna, Ohio; and grandchildren Bradley, Valerie, Matthew, Lily, Mikayla and Christopher. Funeral services were held at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Norris E. Belcher Jr., officiating. Interment was in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
