Rosie Morrow Obituary

Rosie Marie Morrow, of Salisbury, who died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, was born to Benjamin and Julia Morrow of Salisbury on April 21, 1968, at Rowan Memorial Hospital. She attended Salisbury public schools and graduated from Salisbury High School in 1986. She later moved to Hartsville, S.C., and was last employed with Assurant as an insurance processor before she returned home to Salisbury in 2013. Rosie continued her education by attending and graduating from Florence- Darlington Technical College with a degree in Human Service on May 18, 1999. She was an ordained minister and attended Levi Temple of Deliverance in Hartsville, S.C. for 20 years. She later joined Outreach Christian Ministries International when she returned to Salisbury in 2013, where she was an active member until her death. She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Mae Morrow, in 1990. She leaves to mourn her passing her father, Rev. Dr. Benjamin L. Morrow Sr. (Ava); her daughter, Wendy Morrow; her devoted sisters, Janice Oglesby (Perman), Yolanda Alexander (Buster), Cornelia Morrow of Salisbury; half sisters Jacqueline McCullough (Justin) of Fort Mill, S.C., Kimberly Morrow of Ladson, S.C; half brother Benjamin Morrow Jr. (Heidi), of Fort Worth, Texas; her beloved and cherished granddaughter, Samiyah Morrow; niece Kaneisha Brown; nephew Edward Morrow; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends. Arrangements: The visitation is Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. and the funeral at 1 p.m. at Outreach Christian Ministries, West Horah Street, with the Pastor, Apostle Bradley Taylor, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Hairston Funeral Home, Inc.
