Ruby Moore Obituary
KANNAPOLIS - Mrs. Ruby Virginia Yates Moore, 93, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at Transitional Health Services.
Mrs. Moore was born on May 29, 1920 in Kannapolis. She was the daughter of the late John Lawson Yates and Ellen Wood Yates.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Price Moore and grandson, Bobby Johnson, Jr.
Mrs. Moore is survived by three daughters, Brenda Powell and husband Joe of Woodleaf, Cheryl Lambert and husband Butch of Kannapolis and Rachel Royer of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation and Services: A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Harry Trouper Ferguson will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.
