Sherri Lamb Obituary

Sherri Bradley Lamb, 52, of Rockwell, went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday, December 15, 2022. She was born January 12, 1970, in Rowan County, to Kenneth and Elaine Miller Bradley. Sherri was a 1988 Graduate of East Rowan High School and worked for Darrell's Barbeque for many years before opening Jeff and Sherri's Place in Rockwell. She enjoyed spending time at Kure Beach fishing and in the mountains with her family. She was very family oriented and always enjoyed being around others. Sherri especially loved her dog, Tete, but her favorite thing to do was to see her children smile. Sherri was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harry Miller; paternal grandfather, William Bradley; and her best friend, Julie Walton. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Mark Lamb and wife, Marah, of Rockwell and Jenna Lamb and fiance, Storm Walser, of Granite Quarry; brother, Ryan Bradley of Rockwell; and maternal grandmother, Mary Miller of Salisbury. Arrangements: The family will greet friends and relatives from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM on Tuesday, December 20, at Powles Staton Funeral Home in Rockwell. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Pastor Oscar Shepherd. Memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 486, Rockwell, NC 28138. Powles Staton Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.powlesfuneralhome.com.

Sherri was a special person. The last time I spoke with her I told her how I was reminded when I use to see her, Ryan and her Mother on Sunday evenings when we all were visiting Pop Hartman and how she was such a pretty young girl who grew into a beautiful very caring lady. I'm so sorry for all the pain she endured, but she endured it as a real champion. Knowing Jesus as her savior, she is no longer in pain.

My prayer is for her family to remember how she loved each of you and to give you strength to deal with your loss.

Dear Kenneth, Elaine, Ryan, Mark, Marah, Jenna, Storm & Family of Sherri, we are so sorry for the loss of your Precious Loved One! Sherri was a wonderful waitress that we loved for many years. She was beautiful, kind, and caring to all she knew. We will miss her so much, but not as sorely as all of you will. We do rejoice that now Sherri is young, beautiful, and so happy to be in Heaven with her Grandpas, her Best Friend Julie and all of her Loved Ones who have gone on before. May God comfort you with precious memories of such a wonderful Lady. You will see her again one day. Love in Christ, Ronnie & Pam <3
