Steve Watts Obituary

Mr. Steve Watts, 61, passed on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Davie Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born October 21, 1962 in Chesterfield, SC, he was the son of the late James Arthur Johnson and Hattie Mae Watts Johnson.

Educated in the public schools of Rowan County, he was a graduate of Salisbury High School. He was last employed in the Maintenance Department at Catawba College.

Mr. Watts attended Refreshing Springs Ministries.

Those left to forever cherish his memories are his children, Demetria LaTonia Ellis, Asa Ellis, Sr. (Corbin), Alycia Nicole Ellis-Sankey (DaSheen) all of Salisbury, and Joshua Brown of Virginia; siblings, Deborah Watts of Salisbury and James Arthur Johnson, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements: Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 2:00pm in the A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel, Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home, Inc.
