Teresa Ridenhour Obituary

Teresa J. Ridenhour, 59, Davidson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 16, 2015, after a brief illness; however death was unexpected. She was born May 31, 1956, in Stanly County to the late Liston Odell Whitley and Shelvie Jean Shepherd Whitley. Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family, working crossword puzzles and playing with her dog, Gabby. She enjoyed making trips to visit with family in Louisiana. Survivors include two sons: James Martinez of Davidson, David Shawn Martinez and wife Anita of Mount Ulla; one sister, Karen Crainshaw and husband Pete of Kannapolis; one brother, Roger Odell Whitley and wife Geraldine of Rockwell; five grandchildren; and two nieces. Service: A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20 at her home with Pastor Keith Kannenberg officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
