Terri Thompson Obituary

Terri Lynn Thompson, 66, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born on August 18, 1959, in Rowan County to the late Betty Starnes and Walter Owen Thompson.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister Deborah Thompson Kesler (Michael); aunt Faye Merkt; niece Sarah Sweatt (Kevin); nephew Lucas Kesler (Ashley); great nieces and nephews Baydn, Ty, Landon, and Corbin, all of Rowan County; her precious friend/caregiver Misty Fulk, and her wonderful family.

Terri had an infectious smile that touched everyone who knew and loved her. She was truly a special angel on Earth.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday August 29, 2025, at Trading Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, 3600 Long Ferry Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146, with Rev. Mike Motley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
