Thomas C. Helmstetler

LEXINGTON - Thomas Cathell "Tom" Helmstetler, age 75, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, in Lexington Health Care after an illness of six months.

Mr. Helmstetler is survived by his wife, Bobbie Wrenn Helmstetler; a son, Tad Helmstetler and Fiancee, Diane Morrison of Lexington; a brother, James Helmstetler and wife Pat of Cooleemee and a sister Becky Smoot of Surf City.

Service and Burial: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Second Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Bill Sosebee. Burial with Military Rites by the VFW Post # 3074 will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Visitation: The family will see friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the residence..

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church, PO Box 1334, Lexington, NC 27293.
