A kind, sweet, and gentle man who will be missed greatly by his Florida family at Knight's Key RV Resort. If we all held a bit of "Tommy T" in our hearts this would be a better world.

Tommy was one of a kind. I remember seeing him after NC State won the National Championship game in basketball in 1983 at Al's Night Hawk. He was so excited! He wanted to go immediately to Raleigh to join the celebration. We went. Not much happening by the time we got there. We came back very tired. He was fulfilled that night just being there. It meant a lot to him. It meant, and will always mean, a lot to me. My life is greatly enriched from having briefly known this great man.

I will miss seeing him and Pedro out for a walk and miss the conversations we had I always stopped and talked with Tommy and Pedro and Chase would play and spar with each other It's sad to think that I will not see and talk with him anymore. When you saw Tommy you wanted to stop and talk he will be missed by far more people than we will ever know....

Tommy and I were boyhood friends out at Franklin. We were second graders when we first met, and everyday, we would ride our bikes across the couple of fields that separated our houses. Together, and pals, and adventurers, and joke tellers, and song-singers, and bus-riders, and ...good friends. Part of both our lives were formed by the strength of loyal friendship. Great and indelible memories. The peace of Christ makes Tommy at home, now. The peace of Christ surrounds family and friends, now.

I will always remember Tommy's kindness and that special glowing smile. He was a fun loving man and a great friend.
To Tommy's family and friends, I extend my heartfelt sympathy.
Sincerely,
