Tricia Roberson Kurfees, 50, of Salisbury passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. Born in Forsyth County on August 22, 1971, she was the daughter of Rita Carlene Boose and the late Thurman Winfield Roberson, Jr. Tricia was a 1989 graduate of West Forsyth High School and worked for many years as an order puller for Dillard's Distribution Center. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved her dog “Maggie Mae” and enjoyed crafts and needlework. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her niece, Jessie Bostian and father-in-law, Perry Lee Kurfees. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 25 years, James Kurfees; mother, Rita Carlene Boose Roberson; sister, Tammy Roberson; mother-in-law, Katrina Kurfees; sister-in-law, Angela Endress; nieces, Haley McBride, Emily Endress, and Cameron Shehan; nephews, Dylan McBride and Robbie Endress. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM at the home of Dean and Anglea Endress, 1660 Godbey Rd., Salisbury, NC 28147. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144. Lyerly Funeral Home is serving the Kurfees family.
