Alan Hunter McBeth, our beloved son, father, husband, grandpa and friend passed away April 11, 2016 in Holladay, Utah. He was born February 17, 1959 to Max and Mildred McBeth. In 1977, he graduated from Olympus High School. He married Debra Christensen in 1980 and had two children, Todd and Melissa. Later he married Leesa Moore and had two additional children, Matt and Michael. Al loved to play and watch sports of all kinds, and he especially loved watching his kids and grandchildren compete. He had a great appreciation for good music and a love for the LDS church. Al was loved by all people, especially children, and he also had a great love for animals. We want to thank Dr. Kfoury and the Heart Failure Team at IMC. They cared for him as he received the greatest gift of all, a new heart. He was making incredible progress but after ten weeks contracted pneumonia. He is survived by his father Max A McBeth; his daughter, Melissa (Adam) Bennion; sons, Todd, Matt and Michael; sisters, Marianne and Carolyn; and his beloved nieces and nephews. His four grandchildren were the light of his life: AJ, Whitney, Hailee and Allie. He was preceded in death by his dear mother, Mildred.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 18th, at 11:00 AM at Valley View 9th Ward, 1925 East Gunderson Lane (4101 South). A viewing will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be held at Elysian Burial Gardens.
