Alden Broomhead Obituary
Alden took his last ride for life on his 4-wheeler on August 13, 2018. Born January 14, 1935 in Sandy, Utah to Rulon T. and Alice Tolman Broomhead. Member of the LDS Church. Married Marilyn White later divorced, then married Jackie Anderson on August 31, 1985 in Grantsville, Utah.
Survived by wife Jackie; children Randy (Sheryl) Broomhead, Starli Cornforth, Julie (Steve) Jones, Rob (Charnelle) Broomhead, Bill (Jennifer) Broomhead, Trixi (James) Vera, Craig (Duane) Phillips, Paul (Lori) Phillips and Casey (Paulette) Phillips; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sibilings Ron (LaRae) Broomhead, Taunya (Steve) Robbins, Ric Alexander and brother-in-law John Cederlof. Preceded in death by sister Nancy Cederlof and son-in-law Soren Cornforth.
A viewing will be held Sunday, August 19th from 4:00-6:00 PM at Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. Riverton, Utah. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 20th at 11:00 AM at the Grantsville 4th Ward 428 So. Hale St. with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 AM prior. Jackie and Family,
So sad to hear of the passing of Al. Al was such an inspiration to all and always fun to be around.
Glad I had the opportunity to know and work with him. He will be missed dearly by all.

I worked with Alden at the Depot back in the 80's and 90's, he was a great guy. I am sorry for your loss at his passing. I am sure he is listening to every sound going on around him. Godspeed Alden

I just love this man as does everyone who knew him. I worked him at the depot years ago and he kept us all laughing. My favorite memory is recently at my brother-in-law Davids services, we threw each other a kiss. Great memory to have forever. He will be missed. May God bless Jackie and his family.

Alden and I met when we worked for Kenway Eng. in Bountiful. Later on I like to think I helped him get on at Tooele Army Depot. We have been friends ever since we first met. I dont know of a better man.
We sure will miss seeing him and Jackie around Tooele.

I am going to miss this guy! He was like a second dad to me growing up. We spent a lot of time with him. I love him dearly. Im sure my dad and he are catching up on things. I love you Alden!!

Dear Jackie and family. What a loss of a wonderful man and cousin. He was loved by so many. He will be dearly missed. I am so thankful that I had a chance to say goodbye and get a hug and kiss from him. He will live on in our hearts forever.
