Alice Gorman Obituary
Alice C. Gorman, 88, of Ellet, passed away on March 19, 2005.
Alice was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #565, she enjoyed camping, taking care of her flowers, and loved her grandchil dren.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ida Mae Hamilton, her husband of 63 years, Bud Gorman, and sister, Mary Outen. She is survived by her son, Tommie (Bev erly) Gorman of Akron; daughters, Karen (Gale) Phelps of Akron and Mary (Jeff) Hach of Twinsburg; grandchildren, Capt. Jennifer Phelps, Stephen Shaf fer and Adam Hach, Tammy (John) Black, and Yvonne (Dale) Rafferty; great-grandchildren, Logan Black, Sean and Cory Rafferty.
Her family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at The Arbors of Fairlawn.
Calling hours will be on Tues day, March 22, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44305, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 23 at 10 a.m., with Pastor Norma Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. (NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 330-784-3334.)
