ALLISON DAVIS Obituary

Allison Smith Davis 1965 ~ 2011 Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 16, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on December 13, 1965, to Ronald W. and Patricia S. Smith, Allison was always a wonderful daughter. Growing up, Allison had many friends and was very active in church and school. In high school she competed on the gymnastics team and performed with the drill team. She attended LDS Business College and later worked as an administrative assistant at law and financial investment firms. Allison was an accomplished pianist and a talented seamstress. She enjoyed designing and constructing artistic throw pillows, and always took time to thoughtfully craft special gifts to give to each of the children at family celebrations. Allison married Clay Simmons (later divorced) and they were blessed with two wonderful children. Former husbands also include Reid Dixon and David Davis. Allison is survived by her dear daughter Abby; courageous son Ethan; beloved parents; caring brothers and sister, Derrick (Stephanie), Darrin (Nanette), and Kristianne Aguilera; and treasured nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street on Monday, April 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 26th at the Draper City Cemetery, 12450 South 900 East. www.goffmortuary.com

Abby and Ethan,
We are so sorry for your loss. We all can't believe this, as I'm sure you can't either. If you ever need anything I promise all 4 of us are here --- you can call anytime. I'll try to figure out how to leave my # for you, or you can always ask David. We miss seeing you 2 on weekends. Austin especially misses Ethan, he mentioned Ethan the other day. Austin and I are going to be at the services tomorrow. I'm sorry we can't make your mom's viewing. We are sending you as much love as we can.

You are always in our hearts!

Hey Sis,
I really don’t know what to say or how to convey what I am feeling. Life is not always good, you and I know that. There is a lot of pain, but a lot of happiness and joy too. True friends are amazing and I am so glad that you found that true friendship with Marci. I will always remember you with delight and jubilation. How can I not when we experienced so much of that together. I am so sorry that I haven’t been around the last few years. I hope you enjoyed a lot of bliss and laughter in Texas. I have heard that Eric is a great guy and that he loved you deeply and that makes me smile. I am so glad we took that trip to San Francisco a few years back. That was a great time and I remember it fondly and am grateful that we had that time together. This past week has been horrible and I am having a rough time, but I know you are happy. I keep thinking about Grandma Rada and her soul being there to welcome you with open arms and with love, and that makes it easier. You are loved babe, and always will be! XOXO
