Andrew Jensen Obituary

1925 ~ 2016
Andrew Jensen, Jr. (Drew Jensen), age 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, from heart disease. Born in Salt Lake City on April 6, 1925, Drew is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Markosian Jensen, and their children, Jay (Eleanor), Larry, Lee, and Susan Jensen (RT Bryan), and grandson, Michael Stack. Preceded in death by daughter Lisa Stack.
Drew lived an extraordinary, unique, and private life. His lifelong hobbies included electrical and mechanical engineering, much of which related to his favorite and most complicated custom projects at Bear Lake. He loved designing and building racing engines, flying airplanes, boating, and hiking.
Honoring his request, a memorial was held by immediate family on February 14th.

Dear Jensen family. My condolences to you all. Not only did drew leave a lasting impression on me of dignity and brilliance. But a truly kind man he was. May his memory be eternal.

Dearest Mary ,
Hope your doing well , during this trying time. I was so happy to meet you guys years ago with your boy Lee !! We had many great times at Bear Lake , playing with all the water toys ! I think of you guys often, and I stay in touch w/Lee .. So sorry for your loss , I was very fortunate to meet him and I'll never forget ..... May God Bless you and your Family...
