Annette passed away on October 26, 2025 from natural causes. She led a very independent life. She was born to Ruth Brown Petersen and John N Petersen and raised in Salt Lake City. She graduated from West High in 1961, attended business college while she worked at Mountain Bell. Later married, had two daughters and resided in Magna. She had a career in electronics where she worked at American Laser for many years. She later retired from WalMart where she worked for 12 years making many lifelong friendships.

Annette loved to fish and the outdoors, later in life she had a passion for gardening, she enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching the Hummingbirds and Orioles. She loved spending time with her family and friends; she loved her dogs and cats that she had over the years very much.

She proceeded in death to her mother, father, brother Gordon, daughter Julie and many relatives.

She was survived by her daughter Christine; Grandsons, Brandon (Julie), Michael (Tiffany), Christopher (Amber), Mathew; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who loved and cared for her at Sunridge Assisted Living and Memory Care. Also, to the nursing staff at Aspire. Thank you to the Doctors and staff at Moran Eye center for doing everything they could to save mom's vision.

My mom made many people laugh with her sharp sense of humor; she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A simple prayer side burial will be held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and N Street, on Oct. 17th at 10am, celebration of life following luncheon at Our Lady of Lourdes in Magna, 2840 S 9000 W, at noon.
