Belinda Hernandez Obituary
Beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt & Friend, passed away on April 27, 2016 at 58 years old, due to a long battle of health issues.
Belinda was born May 27, 1957 in Robstown, Texas to Eva & Alberto Hernandez. The family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she graduated from West High School in 1976. Followed by attending LDS Business College where she earned her degree. Then was employed by Equitable Life & Casualty Insurance for 33 years and employed part time for a local flower shop which she contributed 22 years of her life with the creativity and beauty of her work. Belinda had a lot of passion for traveling international with her friends and family. She loved to shop and always loved the finer things in life. She did things out of the kindness of her heart, was very creative with crafts, cooking, sewing and was an amazing event planner. Enjoyed movies like a critic, collected many over the years and loved going to the Utah Jazz games to cheer them on. She will be missed by many that loved and cared for her deeply. She is survived by her Mother Eva Hernandez, Siblings Estella Aguirre, Fernando Hernandez, Gabriel (Bobbie) Hernandez, Leticia (Douglas) Dardon, Kristan (Juan) Hernandez-Martinez, several nieces and nephews and her true love Alan Campos. She is preceded in death by her Father and Brother Alberto Sr & Jr Hernandez. They will hug, hold and care for her on her peaceful journey. The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors and nurses who helped her through this long battle. We appreciate everything.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church 1040 West 400 South Monday May 2, 2016, Rosary at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. Committal Mt. Calvary Cemetery 4th Ave. & T Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Intermountain Medical Center Dialysis Services 74 W. Vine St. Murray UT, 84107 in memory of Belinda Hernandez.

I was saddened to learn of Belinda's passing. I got to know her at Equitable Life and Casualty, and found her a hard worker and always helpful. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

It was such a pleasure getting to know Belinda through the past several years. She always had a smile even when she wasn't feeling well. She would bring us an arrangement of Christmas greens that was always beautiful and so much appreciated. Then when she wasn't doing flowers, she would bring us a little bag of goodies that she had put together. She was always very thoughtful. We will miss her greatly!!

I've known Belinda for almost twenty years. She was funny, generous, reliable, and kind. Always a hard worker and easy to get along with. She was a very talented florist and created beautiful works of art with flowers. I've been heartbroken since I heard of her passing and miss her deeply.

I have known Belinda for a very long time we worked at Equitable together she was a lot of fun to be around we had man adventures together never knew where we were going to end up. Very talented in everything she did. Belinda you and Sharon Curtis can now start a Bonco game in heaven. May you rest in peace my friend and you will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this time and may they find comfort that she is in a better place and healthy.

Only new Belinda on the "side". She was on our Bonco team for many years and also bowled with her. Always looked forward to listening and seeing pictures of her travel. She went to some beautiful places. And now her greatest travel which is well earned. RIP Belinda and your smile will always be remembered.

Belinda was my best friend throughout life. Even though we didn't see each other often, we shared incredible history and laughs together and it was as though time didn't matter. She was a great friend and I love her very much. She had a beautiful spirit, kind and wonderful. What a great memory she gave to me and I will NEVER forget her. Her family was always kind and thoughtful to me and a large part of who I am.

I will miss everything about you...we worked together, we laughed together, we shared meals, holidays, birthdays, travel, we shared both happy tears and sad tears. We could talk for hours and still have more to say. You have completed the course and earned your wings, we must part for a time but I will see you again my friend, for our friendship is eternal. Dear Family,
I worked with Belinda at Equitable Life & Casualty for 20 years. She knew how to take care of business and still have fun. She with Cheri made holidays fun, especially Halloween. I was sorry to hear that she had poor health. She loved life and her family and friends. May she now rest in peace.
