I was so sad to find this today, even though it has been awhile since we have seen Betty! I am surely going to miss her infectious laugh, and calling me "doll". She was absolutely a delight to have in our office. So sorry for your loss.

Jill and Family, I was so surprised to hear of your Mom's passing. You had her for so many years and took such good care of her along with your children. So many of us in the Ward are thinking of you.

I am so sorry to hear about beautiful Betty's passing. She was so fun to talk to, beautiful lady and so talented. I remember her teaching me how to speak English. My first word was "gum", she would chew her gum while driving to the Mall, look at me and said "gum" would you like one?
I have great memories of her. Love you Betty.

One of my best friends and confidants passed away this last week. She lived life her own way. Betty worked hard her entire life. Even when she married her husband, Bob Petersen, she raised chickens and eggs at their home where she held many positions at the first LDS church in Granger, UT. While raising six children with her husband, she worked at wedding reception centers and published a book about having a proper but affordable wedding. Betty had a talent for flower decorating, and donated thousands of dollars in decorations and hours at local senior centers. She had the opportunity to travel the entire world and could tell stories of her experiences to her grand and great grand children. We had wonderful daily chats as she asked how my constitution was., and she always gave me her greatest advice. Betty, I will miss you, you little twit!
