I would like to extend my sympathy to Bobette's family, especially her sisters, Yvonne and Moana. I understand how very difficult it is to have a sister pass away. I know that you will be comforted through your faith in your Heavenly Father. I remember your parents and am sure they are happy to have her join them.

To Bobette's husband and family:

I was deeply saddened when I got the news from my sister, Betsy, that our cousin Bobette had lost her long battle with cancer. We are keenly aware of this kind of struggle--its toll on not just the person with the disease, but the family as well. While I live too many miles away to have attended the funeral, I hope that this short message will let you know how much I loved Bobette. Many were the camping trips my dad, Dan, with his family and his brother, Bob, Bobette's dad and his family take together. Bobette is a wonderful woman and I'm glad to be her cousin.

May the peace of Jesus Christ be in your hearts and minds during your temporary separation.

A loving cousin,

Gaylen K. Cardwell

Bobette was and still is (on the other side of the veil) a spectacular teacher and person. I learned so much when I volunteered in her classroom at Monte Vista. She had an impact on many many young students (and Parents). Also to Hillary, my prayers and concern are with you. May God Bless

I was so sad to read of Bobett's passing. She was a remarkable woman is so many ways. I have always felt a special connection to the Cardwell girls, being one of four farmers daughters myself. The Cardwell farm was one of the first stops on the bus route for my dad and he and Bob always watched out for each other's girls. Bobette went the extra mile as a teacher, even coming to my daughter Marie's baptism. It was always fun to visit with her at school music events that our children were performing in. She will be missed . I hope all the wonderful memories you have will help make the hard days ahead a little easier. All my love and prayers to Dave, the kids and grand children, sisters and nieces and nephews who loved her so much.

Bobette was one great woman! She loved her kids and grandkids and wanted the best for them. I saw her taking her grandkids to church many times with a huge smile on her face. That was the person she was. I visiting taught her for many years when she lived in Riverton and that was a learning moment for me because she always had more to teach me then I did her. Warm wishes to her family she will be greatly missed.

I also worked at Monta Vista where I got to know Bobette. I moved away and didn't know she was battling cancer, but I'm sure she put up a heck of a fight. She was a talented, dedicated teacher who was always smiling, and she had to go far too soon. My prayers are with her family.

Bobette was a wonderful teacher! She was especially talented at teaching Math, which she loved. I worked worth her ten years or so ago at Monte Vista,, but we stayed in touch. We took a couple of fun classes together at Baker's C&C. The most memorable was a few years ago when we made cake pops! We had fun trying it at Tracy's house afterwards. The collaborative cook is also a collaborative teacher - the best teammate ever. I will miss Bobette. She was a wonderful lady.

Bobette was a sweet gal. She spoke the truth; had a superb sense of humor; was talented in so many ways; was an amazing teacher to children and adults alike; and was a true disciple of Christ. She set the bar high for love of family, love of friends, kindness first and enjoyment of life. I will miss you my dear friend. I will miss you at our gatherings and reunions. I am blessed to know you. Hugs to your sweet family.
