Brent Fender Obituary

Brent Julian Fender 1943 ~ 2007 Brent Julian Fender passed away July 7, 2007 from cancer, at home, with his wife by his side. Born to Vila Alvey and Julian Lewis Fender October 19, 1943. Married Judy Crabtree; later divorced. From that marriage came three wonderful children, Michelle, Michael, and Sara. Brent was a graduate of Granger High School, worked at the Trane Co., Kennecott Copper, and Granite School District. Brent married his soul mate, love of his life, and best friend, Patricia Lee Delzer June 17, 2000. They sealed their marriage for time and all eternity September 14, 2002. Brent was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brent loved the gospel and never hesitated when asked to serve. Brent and Pat loved to serve in the Gospel; together they had great fun. Brent's favorite pastimes were supporting his grandchildren in their activities, going to the movies and popcorn, test-driving new cars, spending time with his sweetheart, family, friends, and being with priesthood brethren. Survived by his sweetheart, Pat; their six children, Michelle Kalosi (Henry), Michael Fender (Christy), Sara Jessup, Stormie Edwards, Mistie Morrison, and Arthur Morrison; 11 grandchildren, Arianna, Alexander, Austin, Hailey, Miranda, Ethan, Landon, Randy (Sofia), Alyssa, Abbie, and Alexandria; one great-grandchild, Kami; brother, Richard Fender; sister, Luann Marvidakis; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Darrell; and a grandson, Braedon. Your loving and caring nature will be missed by all, your teasing by your grandchildren, and your warm and gentle touch by your sweetheart (see you on date night). Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the River Ridge 7th Ward, 10200 S. 1300 W. in South Jordan. A viewing for family and friends will be held at the River Ridge 8th Ward Tuesday, July 10, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. and again Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park. Sadly I just learned of Brent's passing today. My classroom was next to his office so we saw each other daily. I loved his sense of humor, pleasant personality, and willingness to drop everything and come to help me with the smallest problem. Brent was my friend. He will be dearly missed.

My deepest sympathies to Brent's family.

I just learned of Brent's passing today, the 19th. Brent was a fun-loving guy who always worked to serve others. He was caring, kind and had a great sense of humor. As my head custodian at Bonneville Jr. he always had the kids and staff he worked to serve as his upmost concern. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his wonderful wife and family.

Michele, Michael & Sara - I was so sorry to hear about your Dads passing. It's been quite a few years since you lived in Continental Estates, but I have thought of you over the years and remember what great kids you were.
May you always remember the most wonderful times with your father to help you through life. Love,

Fender Family:
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for Brent's passing. Although I didn't know him personally, one of his greatest achievements was raising his son Michael to be an exceptional human. He is married to my niece Christy and I see firsthand how he interacts with his children and how he treats his wife. May the holy spirit bring comfort and healing to you all.
Sincerely,
