Brent Hancock Obituary
"Skip"
BO-YAH! What a beautiful day to pass away. Toodle lu and ta ta ta, I'm going home to Heavenly Father. My parents were Ernest Maynard and Devona Pectol Hancock. I married my high school and eternal sweetheart, Diane Gallegos, my Mormon Girl.
Survived by my children Brent and Anthony Hancock, grandchildren Anna, Joshua and Nicholas, my Mormon Kids. A big grateful thanks to my two sons and sisters, VonaDee Kenney and Gloria Kuhn for all their help taking care of me and Applegate Hospice for the comforting care.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. A visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.

Skip was a "gentle" man. He was always happy to see you and wanted to shake your hand. One of the highlights of his life was his visit to the Jordan River Temple where he was able to do some very special work there. Good Job, Brent.

I am so glad that Jack and I were able to visit with Skip lately. I grew up with Skip in the Cannon ward and the Rugg family have many memories with the Hancock family. Jack has many memories running around with Skip in their youth. We will not be able to be at the memorial but know that our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

It is a sad day, Skip and I were best friends since we met in 1966. We worked together at KCC for 10+ years and remained friends until the day he passed away. Skip will always be in my best memories. Brent and Tony, I know your dad loved you dearly.
