I remember being friends with Brent's brother Kelly back in the early seventies when I was just in junior high I remember Brent had a big Dodge power ram truck that he would drive us around in sometimes Kelly liked his truck but I'm sure he liked his Vega hatchback better I always liked Brent I had no idea that he passed away I feel bad for not staying in touch with the family over the years. I have tried to look up Kelly but the days of the phone books are gone and I don't do Facebook I feel too old for that. I just would like them all to know that Bill Desmond will miss him dearly my heart goes out to the family. Today is October 23rd 2024 hope someone in the family sees this that knows me and knows how sorry I am about Brent. Thank you take care

Brent was a great guy and funny and so charitable with his time always a helping hand for those in need. He was loved by all he came in contact with. May he RIP. He’s out of pain and suffering now and is with our Heavenly Father. My prayers are with Linda, Nicole, Jennifer and their families.

Linda, Nicole, Jennifer and family:
We are deeply saddened for your loss and thank you for reaching out to notify me of Brent's passing. Our hope is that you find peace in the days ahead. Even though we have lost touch the past too many years, the memories of times our families spent together hunting in Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Nebraska remain among our most cherished. Brent introduced me to 4 wheelers. I have and will continue to think of him every time we ride.
If ever there was anyone who had the right to complain about their lot in life, it was Brent. But that was not him! I was so amazed at how well Brent managed his diabetes. Yes, there were times when he'd over exert while hunting. It was such a concern for me to see him not feeling well and his feet bloodied. So much so that I needed to ensure his safety if ever we were in an emergency situation. For both our sakes I learned what I could about the disease and what to watch for. He NEVER complained and got right back up the next day ready to go again!
We also knew he had lost his sense of smell thus his sense of taste which horrible as that woud be, he always made us laugh because he'd put salt, pepper and ketchup on his food. When asked why since he can't taste, he simply replied, "well, I can still REMEMBER how it tastes!" That loss of smell came in handy when the dogs got caught up with a skunk while hunting pheasants in Nebraska. The rest of us were choking with tear filled eyes
while Brent wasn't the least bit bothered.
So heroic in his battle! Such a kind person! Rest in peace our friend!

Brent was a great friend and the best hunting partner I have ever had. I’m glad we were able to get one more elk last year before his passing. We enjoyed each other’s company as much as the hunts. The last I talked to him is when he called me to remind me to get my spike tag early because they were selling fast. Thanks for all the memories Brent. See you in the next hunting grounds.

Brent was like part of the family over the last 40 or so years. He was our neighbor at the mountain and a trusted friend. I will miss Brent greatly and for sure will miss him stopping by to say hello. He was a one of a kind man who like most of us at the property truly loved those mountains. Rest in peace Brent

We have many fond memories of our association and friendship with Brent when we owned property in Panarama Woods. He had a heart of gold and helped us in projects on our property and home. Robert and Brent were associated in business for many years and became good friends. We have missed our association and are saddened of Brent's passing. May our father in heaven bless Linda and all the family during this difficult period. Love, Robert & Jill

The last time I saw Brent, four weeks ago, we sat on the mountain and had morning coffee together. Brent felt compelled to show me this photo of him holding a burrowing owl. I’m grateful for all the time I got to spend with Brent on the mountain over the past 20 years and will never forget him. Thank you Brent for all the good memories.
