April 1, 1962 - Oct. 21, 2016
Brent D. Wasmer passed away suddenly on October 21st, 2016. He is now in Heaven, at peace with the Lord and keeping watch on all of us. Brent was born in Salt Lake City, the oldest of three.
He is a graduate of Judge Memorial High School. After graduation he entered the United States Marine Corp. for four years.
Brent's biggest passions were fly fishing and golfing. He was very successful in management positions in the food service industry over the years. He was a 3rd degree of the Knights of Columbus.
Survived by his four children Brandon Wasmer (28) of Salt Lake City, Kina Evans (24), Aubree Wasmer (21) and Evan Wasmer (18) all of Moyie Springs, ID; parents Robert and Marlene Wasmer of Cave Creek. AZ.; two sisters Lori (William) Condas and Lisa (Glenn) Leier; his love Diane Kirkpatrick of Sandy, UT; three nieces Tonya (24), Mikayla (20) and Gabrielle (17); one nephew Joshua (27); many uncles, aunts, cousins; and his little canine buddy Tiberius, who all will miss him immensely.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 28th at 1:00PM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2315 Redondo Ave., Salt Lake City, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment to follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Willliams Road, Bluffdale.

In lieu of flowers Brent would prefer any donations to the Organization of AA.

Wasmer Family,
So sorry for your loss! Your son brought a lot of love, smiles, and joy into my life. He had a huge heart and watched over those he loved and those he thought needed extra care. You welcomed me into your house with open arms, I saw your love for your son all over your face. His love for you was also very apparent. That type of love never ends, hold onto it! You and all of us who had him in our lives are blessed.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Brent's passing today. I fondly think of him and the days we spent together at Judge. I always felt like I had a protector in the halls at Judge when he was close by. He will be missed.

Dear Wasmer family,
I have great memories of Brent during and after high school. I will always remember his fun sense of humor and a smile that would light up a room. Under the toughness of the football player and Marine, he also had a very tender heart. He always remembered my birthday...April 2, which was one day later than his. My heart goes out to all of you, and know my thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Dear Wasmer Family,
My deepest sympathies are with you all through this most difficult time. I was so sorry to learn about Brent's passing. He was a good friend through High school and beyond. I will never forget his sense of humor, we had a tons of great laughs and times together with JMH friends, beginning with a Homecoming venture in the Wasmer family Motorhome. When I think about him, I smile. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Wasmer family
I'm so sad to hear of Brent's passing. Brent was a great friend. We went to Judge Memorial High school together and played on the football team, we went into the United States Marines together. I'll always remember that Brent worked and tried his best at everything he done. He would help anyone if they needed help. I miss Brent and will always remember the times we spent as friends.
