Brian Bosworth Obituary

Brian C. Bosworth 1965 ~ 2005 LIBERTY - Brian Curtis Bosworth, 40, died Monday, November14, 2005 in China. He was born August 21, 1965 in Ogden, a son of Gary Arthur and Marsha Kay Uibel Bosworth. On June 30, 1994, Brian married the love of his life, Kristal Ann Ard, in Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple November 24, 1997. Brian was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a strong testimony of eternal families. Raised and educated in Ogden, he graduated from Ogden High School where he forged many lifelong friendships through his academic and athletic achievements. After earning a B.A. in finance from Utah State University he chose to start his business career in Ogden. Brian's strong attachment to the community overrode various opportunities to invest elsewhere. He insisted on investing in, and strengthening the Ogden community. He was the founder and owner of Timberlodge Manufacturing which later evolved into Timberlodge Collection and Manufacturing as wholesale and retail entities, with accounts around the country as well as internationally. He later diversified into a land developer and an importer. His bedding company named Berry Creek Home Collection grew to encompass wholesale accounts throughout the United States. Brian was always concerned for others and had their best interests at heart. He never said no to any charitable organization that approached him. Brian loved to travel with his family and expose them to various cultures. He loved nature and teaching his daughters about the natural world around them. Brian was an avid fly fisherman and loved to hunt. He was an excellent snow skier which was a favorite family activity. Surviving are his wife, Kristal; and two beloved daughters, Brooklyn Kate (9), and Ambrie Ann (7). Also surviving are his parents of Ogden; grandmother, Thelma U. Quinton, Pleasant Grove; brother, Brandon (Eve) Bosworth, Keams Canyon, AZ; and sisters, Carrie Anne Bosworth, Layton; Trisha (Kirk) Nord, South Weber. Preceding Brian in death were his grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Bosworth and Grandpa Uibel. Private family services will be held under the direction of Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Parent Project/Muscular Dystrophy 158 Lindwood Plaza Suite 220 Fort Lee, NJ 07024 (1-800-714 KIDS). I am so sorry for your loss. I went to Junior High and High School with Brian. He was truly a good person. I just saw him at the Ogden High reunion two years ago, and I am so sad to read this in the paper. I lost my older brother in 1990, and I know how hard it is to lose loved ones at such a young age. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
