West Jordan, UT-Chad Derrick Burningham born in Salt Lake City, UT on October 25th, 1982, age 42 went missing on 7/14/2025 while camping with friends, he was found and confirmed deceased on 7/23/2025. The family would like to extend special thanks to all those who aided in the search & rescue efforts and GoFundMe contributions. We couldn't have done this without you!
He was a talented man with a good heart. Pottery, cooking, sewing, exercising, enjoying the outdoors, spending time with animals, and collecting items were among his favorite activities. Unfortunately, his numerous health problems made it hard to enjoy those pastimes.
Chad is survived by his sons, Jordan and Kole; mother, Melissa Anderson; father, Glen Burningham; siblings, Corey, Shane (Lexi), Justin(Melissa), Chrystal(Josh), Tyler(Hannah); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends.
Proceeded in death by grandparents, Bonnie & Leon Burningham and Max & Shirely Derrick.
Celebration of life services will be held in Riverton, UT at the Hamilton Event Center (3700 w 13800 s) on Friday, 26 September 2025 at 5pm
