Christian Anderson Obituary

Christian Anderson "Free Spirit"  Our beloved son, brother, grandson and best friend passed away February 4, 2004 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born in Salt Lake City, April 1, 1978 to Charles Blake Anderson and Dolores Ann Lettig. Christian was big-hearted with a love of life. Some of his favorite things were being with his friends, enjoying good food and living life for the moment. But, his true passion was snowboarding. He found peace and happiness at Brighton and Lake Tahoe in the winters, and Mt. Hood in the summers. He spent time camping, competing and having fun with family and friends. Now Christian is finally free from suffering and pain, he is laughing in the mountains that he so loved. We love you and miss you. He is survived by his father Charles Blake Anderson; mother Dolores Lettig; sisters Layla Anderson, Ambra Wellbeloved and her husband Tremain; grandfather Dick Anderson; grandmother Cleo Lettig; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives, friends, and his dog Sally. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Christian's name to the Children's Organ Transplant Association at www.cota.org or 2501 COTA Drive, Bloomington, IN 47403. I met Christian in Starbucks at the Galllivan Center where I work. He came in frequently early mornings for his cup of tea. He was always so pleasant and had a great smile! I had a good time visiting with him and often discussed snowboarding together. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and of your loss. I will always remember him. All my sympathy, Brittany

Christian was an awesome guy. I am glad that I had a chance to get to know him through our junior High & High school years. Him and the guys were always out to make you laugh. He will be missed and remembered by many. Christian and his family are in my prayers. "EL"(Eternal Life)

Dear Blake, Delores and Layla;

Our family is deeply sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure of talking to Christian at his work at Bambara in the past year. He was a kind and polite young man. We are very shocked to hear of his passing. Our sincere condolences.

Christian has been a light in my life for over 10 years. He worked for me at the Broiler and quickly became endeared to me. What an awesome guy he has always been. Even though the illness took a toll he never hid the light that was in his heart. I will miss him deeply. His coworkers and customers will miss him as well.

Christian was always such a free spirit and so much fun to be around. I will always remember how much fun we had with friends hiking and camping and just hanging out. He was someone you could never forget and I will cherish the time I was able to spend with him.
