Cora Adams Obituary
Our beloved Cora Sadie Adams passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family at her home in South Jordan, UT at the precious age of 8 ½ years old on Friday, August 29, 2014. Her passing was the result of life-long health challenges associated with Hydranencephaly.
Cora's miraculous birth took place on March 16, 2006 to Chris and Jennifer Adams in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cora loved to be outside and ride in her adaptive bike trailer built by her dad and brother. She had a Mona Lisa smile with the sporadic "crack-up" giggle that sent her family scrambling for cameras and video recorders. Her favorite times were spent with lots of family-cousins yelling, laughing. She would listen intently to the chaos. Cora attended Kauri Sue Hamilton School with great teachers who literally lifted her out of her wheelchair and helped her do many activities. She loved Primary and music. We will miss her powerfully illuminating spirit. She never spoke words but she was understood by many. She was welcomed to heaven by her identical twin sister Addie, her cousins Kera and Lily, uncle, and great-grandparents who frequently accompanied her in this life.
Cora is survived by her parents Chris and Jennifer Adams of South Jordan, UT, siblings Samuel and Grace Adams, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Kauri Sue Hamilton School, 2827 West 13400 South, Riverton, Utah.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the LDS South Jordan Parkway Stake Center at 9894 South 2700 West, South Jordan, Utah. A short viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 am prior to the service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State, Provo, Utah
Cora's family would like to thank the many people who impacted her life including family, friends, Primary Children's Hospital, Families First Pediatrics, Intermountain Hospice, teachers, and many others.

It seems the most pure and beautiful spirits are only here for a short time. It has to be the most difficult trial for you, her beloved family, but it must be a joyous reunion with those who have been waiting for her return. May she now be free to run, dance, and sing with the angels. We pray the Holy Ghost will bring comfort and peace to you and ease your aching hearts.

So sorry for your loss. I remember the cute picture of Cora with her ribbon covered flip flops that you shared for the conference. She looked like such a happy girl. Thinking of your family during this time and sending prayers your way.
